Step-by-Step Installation Guide

1. Surface Preparation

• Smooth the surface: Ensure it’s free of imperfections.
• Clean thoroughly: Remove all dust, dirt, and debris.
• Check humidity: The surface should have less than 3% humidity.

2. Select the Right Adhesive

• Use an adhesive classified as C2TE, such as Litokol Litoplus K55.
• This adhesive works well in wet environments and bonds strongly to concrete.

3. Apply the Adhesive

• Tool: Use a 6-mm notched trowel.
• Technique: Spread the adhesive uniformly across the surface. Ensure a consistent layer for even tile placement.

4. Laying the Glass Mosaic Panels

• Align with precision: Utilize the JointPoints® System to ensure even spacing.
• Press gently: Firmly set each panel into the adhesive.
• Check alignment: Use a rubber float to adjust and smooth the panels.

5. Grouting the Tiles

• Choose the right grout: Use an epoxy grout such as Litokol Starlike Evo, classified as RG.
• Apply in small sections: Use a soft rubber float to spread the grout between the tiles.
• Remove excess grout: Wipe off immediately to prevent hardening on the surface.

6. Cleaning the Tiles

• Initial cleaning: Use water and a superpro sweepex sponge to clean excess grout.
• Final cleaning: After 24 hours, use a post-construction cleaner like Litonet Gel Evo to remove any residue.

Finishing Touches

• Inspect thoroughly: Ensure all tiles are firmly set and the grout is smooth.
• Curing time: Wait 24-48 hours before filling the pool with water.
