How to Install on ICF

Step 1: Surface Cleaning and Preparation

• Clean the ICF Surface:
  Use a stiff brush, water, and mild detergent to remove dirt, dust, and debris from the pool walls.
• Rinse and Dry:
  Thoroughly rinse the surface and allow it to dry completely.

Step 2: Parging the Surface

• Apply Parging Material:
  Spread a thin, even layer of parging material designed for ICF pools using a trowel.
• Smooth Out Imperfections:
  Ensure the surface is smooth and even by filling any bumps or rough areas.
• Cure the Parging Layer:
  Let it dry according to the manufacturer’s instructions for maximum strength.

Step 3: Waterproofing with Aquamaster EVO

• Apply Aquamaster EVO:
  Coat the parged surface with Aquamaster EVO to create a waterproof barrier. Pay extra attention to areas prone to water exposure.
• Cure Time:
  Allow 24-48 hours for the waterproofing layer to dry completely.

Step 4: Tile Installation with Litoelastic EVO Adhesive

• Spread the Adhesive:
  Use a notched trowel to apply Litoelastic EVO Adhesive evenly over the waterproofed surface.
• Place the Tiles:
  Firmly press the glass mosaic tiles into the adhesive, ensuring even alignment.
• Let It Set:
  Allow the adhesive to dry and set according to the manufacturer’s guidelines.

Step 5: Grouting with Starlike EVO

• Prepare the Grout:
  Mix Starlike EVO Grout in a color that complements your tiles.
• Apply the Grout:
  Use a rubber float to fill the spaces between tiles, ensuring all joints are packed.
• Clean Excess Grout:
  Wipe away excess grout with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently to avoid residue buildup.

Step 6: Final Cleaning and Sealing

• Polish the Tiles:
  Once the grout has dried, polish the tiles with a clean, dry cloth.
• Optional Cleaning:
  Use a tile and grout cleaner for added shine and protection.
